Remote Accountant 2 Jobs

Day to Day:

A retail enterprise company is looking for an Accountant 2 to work in a remote role in Seattle, WA! Under general supervision, responsible for moderately complex accounting activities relating to prepaid expenses, inter-company, various accruals and cash.

• Support internal and external audit efforts to ensure compliance
• Understand the Balance Sheet and Income Statement accounts, analyze and investigate unusual trends and activities.
• Constantly strives to exceed goals, requirements, previous accomplishments and expectations
• Accurately record transactions into the general ledger
• Contribute to month-end/quarter-end/year-end close process to ensure timely, accurate financial data that is in compliance with GAAP and accounting policies
• Process unclaimed property
• Accurately reconcile accounts, summarize activity and resolve reconciling differences appropriately.
• Able to effectively contribute to the decision-making process
• Assist with the unclaimed property reporting process
• Perform accounting and control procedures related to moderately complex balance sheet accounts.
• Assist the team with ad-hoc projects as directed
