Staff Accountant - Mostly Remote, Unlimited Pto, 10% Bonus!

LHH is working with a fast growing company in the Atlanta area on a search for a Staff Accountant (Analyst) opportunity. The Company is located in one of Atlanta's most recognizable buildings and most desirable areas. The position offers a great team to work alongside, an incredible benefits package, and vast exposure to a lot of different areas in the Venture Capital/Private Equity world.

DESCRIPTION

• Drive month-end closing procedures
• Own financial operations activities such as A/R and A/P management
• Project work with M&A diligence
• Executing general accounting operations (balance sheet schedules, AR, AP, chart of account management)
• Monitor and ensure compliance with policy and procedures; identify trends in activities and outcomes. Ensure that accounts are balanced and reconciled
• Assist with preparation of financial statements

REQUIREMENTS

• Proficient User of Excel
• Accounting Degree (CPA or CPA Track preferred)
• 1-3 Years of Accounting Experience (public accounting experience preferred)
