SENIOR ACCOUNTANT - INVESTMENTS
HYBRID - 4 days in office, 1 day REMOTE
Salary to $100K plus incentives

The Role You Will Play

• Process in kind distributions
• Compile and analyze financial information for year-end reporting
• Reconcile internal records with custodial bank
• Assist in vendor management
• Perform month end closing procedures
• Evaluate appropriateness of valuation methodologies and conclusions
• Review financials of investment companies and identify SEC, GAAP or IFRS compliance
• Research and reconcile partner statements and financials with internal records and agreements
• Identify and interpret financial and operational risk
• Calculate carried interest payments and reserve accruals

Keys To Success

• Financial Services, banking or private equity industry experience preferred
• Comfortable with automation and seeking workflow improvements
• Experience and fluency in Microsoft Office applications and relational database management
• BA, preferably in accounting, finance or equivalent
• Excited about career, with a real desire to learn.
• 2 + years previous experience preferably in a large CPA firm
• CPA or CFA a plus
