The Staff Accountant works under the supervision of the Accounting Manager. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and demonstrated knowledge of technical and operational accounting and finance functions are a must.


You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support accounts payable activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness of invoice creation and entry
  • Prepare accounting related entries that feed into our accounting software program
  • Assist with monthly closing and other projects as needed
  • Run various reports and queries from the Peoplesoft accounting system
  • Approve AP invoices within our accounting system
  • Maintain AP files and documentation thoroughly and accurately in accordance with accounting practices

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 2+ years of experience in accounting or related field
  • Intermediate experience in Microsoft Word and Excel


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Solid organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Solid written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
