Job Description

Kranz Consulting is working with our client to fill a Senior Accountant position.


The Company is a global on-demand office marketplace, offering workspaces for businesses to manage their hybrid workplaces across the globe. As a rapidly growing company, they are continuously looking for positive, energetic, passionate people to join the team. The Senior Accountant position is a full-time remote role with location preference in the Atlanta Metropolitan area. The position will report to the Director, Operations and work closely with Sales and the Customer Success teams.


Responsibilities include:

  • Assist the finance department in activities as needed.
  • Accounts Payable – Receive all incoming invoices, match invoices to Purchase Orders, route for approvals and payment, enter into the accounting system, prepare weekly accounts payable listing, identify vendors for payment, and ensure timely and accurate payment of vendor invoices. Also, process expense reimbursement requests and prepare 1099s.
  • Provide tax compliance support, working with the external tax firm.
  • Perform month end activities and balance sheet reconciliations– maintain accurate accrued prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and depreciation schedules.
  • Cash Management – Assist with bank transaction activities, prepare a weekly cash forecasting report, prepare cash transfer request, reconcile cash accounts, and route checks for signature.
  • Maintain month-end account reconciliations to ensure financial records are maintained in GAAP compliance with accepted policies and procedures.
  • Payroll – Prepare and process payroll including 401K management in TriNet.
  • Accounts Receivable – Receive all incoming checks and prepare weekly cash collections report with aged receivables report. Assist with collections as needed.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree, in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • 5+ years plus of previous accounting experience
  • Proficiency with accounting and transactions systems ( i.e. QuickBooks Online, Stripe, Braintree, Bill.com, TriNet) in a user capacity
  • Outstanding PC skills with MS Office
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (v-lookup, pivot tables, etc.) and ability to work with large volume data sets
  • Ability to work Independently and as part of a team, be proactive, solve problems and learn new things
  • Strong organizational skills, analytical, and responsive communication skills
  • Proven ability to identify and drive process and system improvements
  • Experience with SaaS business model and revenue recognition including preparing deferred and monthly revenue entries
  • CPA (a plus)
