Senior Accountant

Our client is looking for an experienced accountant that has had experience in Public Accounting. Their client list continues to grow, it’s necessary to build a team that will support the continued growth of their firm. This is a great opportunity for those looking to make a real impact, but with a firm who specializes in a variety of services.

We are looking for someone that is organized, resourceful, proactive, and accountable for their work, but can also:

• Perform proactively, efficiently, and self-manage
• Clearly communicate effectively
• Must be organized and Detail-oriented
• Resolve a wide range of accounting issues
• Assist with client relationships
• Demonstrate flexibility and creativity in solving problems

Requirements

• Experience with various Federal and State tax returns including individual, corporate, trust, estate, nonprofit and partnership
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Strong technology skills - Excel, Word, Outlook, and CCH Axcess software preferred
• Knowledge in U.S. GAAP
• Three to Five years of experience in Public Accounting
• Certified Public Accountant or CPA Candidate preferred, but not required
• Knowledge of tax planning
• Financial Statement knowledge - audit, review, and compilation
• Moderate to Experienced research skills
