Are you a skilled Senior Cost Accountant/Manager seeking a new opportunity? We have an exciting position available with our client, a thriving manufacturing company. This is a temporary role with the potential for permanent placement.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed reviews of costs to ensure accuracy and identify opportunities for improvement (70% of the role)
• Analyze cost data and prepare comprehensive reports to support decision-making (20% of the role)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to fulfill various accounting duties as required (10% of the role)

Requirements:

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software/systems
• Proven expertise in cost accounting, preferably within a manufacturing environment
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels
• Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate results
• Strong proficiency in inventory management and cost of sale analysis
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Experience with large-scale ERP system implementations is highly desirable, particularly Microsoft Dynamics 365

This is a temp to perm position based in Irvington, NJ. As part of our client's team, you will be involved in preparing for the annual physical inventory, researching costs and material costs, and contributing to the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 across their five divisions.
