Job Description
IACX Energy is seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Regulatory and Compliance Clerk that will be located in our corporate office, located in Dallas, TX. The position will report to the Director of EHS and will assist with the management and implementation of the company's EHS regulatory and compliance requirements. The EHS Regulatory and Compliance Clerk will oversee various EHS programs across various business entities under the IACX company portfolio.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Approximately 20% travel to IACX business units to perform onsite job activities such as facility inspections, data gathering, and overseeing regulatory projects.
  • Professionally and courteously interact with regulatory agency personnel.
  • Perform other duties as needed.
  • Keep abreast of local, state, and federal rules and regulations and with agency policies.
  • Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal rules and regulations, and ensure all relevant deadlines are met.
  • Coordinate directly with teams within business units to ensure regulatory and compliance requirements are met. Gather facility technical information needed to complete permits, reports, compliance requirements, and regulatory submittals.
  • Organize and maintain technical files related to the permitting functions of the EHS and Operations group.
Education And/or Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in environmental sciences, engineering, or related discipline or relevant years of experience.
  • Possess a current driver's license.
  • 3-6 years of experience in regulatory permitting or compliance in the oil and gas industry, preferably in midstream.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills, able to work on multiple tasks in any given workday.
  • Familiarity with federal regulatory rules and state/local regulations within the main areas of operation: New Mexico, Texas, and Kansas.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Federal Safety Regulations under OSHA and PHMSA.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills to facilitate positive working relationships with all levels of management and staff
  • Willingness to be a team player.
  • Ability to research, read, and understand rules, regulations, and permit filing instructions.
