Job Description

Position: Regional Sales Manager - TBR Tires (Truck & Bus Radial Tires)

Industry: Tire Manufacturing

Location: NORTHWEST; SOUTHEAST; NORTHEAST territories

Duration: Direct Hire

Compensation: $120k-$130k base + bonus



Position Summary: Responsible for Commercial TBR Sales, by working with commercial customers in all channels in order to increase sales & profitability.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Knowledgeable of the competition and what products, programs and services they offer
  • Provide dealers and commercial sales force with training, knowledge and skills to effectively sell Apollo TBR products
  • Integrate sales data and account information in the corporate information system and keep current all data related to growing sales within the Region
  • Prepare and deliver clear, effective sales and training presentations using current communication systems and tools
  • Ability to function as a self-starter with considerable latitude of action
  • Promote, communicate and teach Apollo Vredestein Tire’s corporate programs, policies, and strategies
  • Responsibly manage Apollo Vredestein Tire’s corporate property & resources
  • Develop and implement regional business plans to increase the sale of commercial truck tires to improve Apollo’s market share
  • Ability to recognize, isolate and solve problems that improve overall customer satisfaction
  • Perform other duties as required
  • Identify and assist with fleet accounts to measure product performance of Apollo TBR products
  • Prepare Sales, Marketing and Distribution needs analysis
  • Identify and familiarize any and all key commercial tire dealers in respective markets keeping management updated routinely.
  • Able to prioritize opportunities then plan and schedule activities
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of Apollo’s TBR product line and the respective application specifics. Forecast sales of product for each customer by product, series, and size
  • To consistently increase sales & profitability by adding and developing new accounts and increase sales with existing accounts through proper account management.
  • Support the efforts and initiatives of the Apollo Vredestein Commercial Truck Tire sales team
  • Deliver product launch presentations and application training
  • Develop and maintain strong business and personal relationships with dealer and fleet principals and key personnel


Qualifications:

  • Degree qualified in Business Administration
  • MBA (Desirable)


Experience:

  • 5 years TBR Tire sales experience
  • Proven track record with top tier manufacturers in the US
  • 10 years proven track record in similar role
