Job Description

The Regional Sales Director is responsible for leading an outside sales team located in a specific priority market metropolitan area. This role is responsible for managing and supporting the team as they focus on selling, promoting, and championing Vari solutions to end users, commercial real estate brokers, and A&D influencers. The Market Leader is also focused on building relationships with customers as they mentor Sales Executives (SEs).

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Recruit, develop, and retain top sales talent
  • Responsible for profit/loss for assigned markets and growing market share
  • Collaborate with HQ-based leadership, marketing, and other teams
  • Accurately forecast sales revenue and delivers business results
  • Identify strategic accounts by actively networking and building relationships
  • Demonstrate strategic leadership and help teams focus on highest value opportunities
  • Lead, motivate, and develop high performing sales teams in a major metropolitan area
  • Sell the full suite of Vari® products including desktop and Full Office products through solution-selling techniques.


HOW YOU’LL GET THERE

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships
  • Experience designing and building a high-performance, accountability-driven sales force in remote markets.
  • Experience with project-based contract furniture or related industries
  • Ability to effectively communicate through all mediums (verbal, listening, written)
  • Strong strategic perspective to establish and guide short-term and long-term sales goals
  • 10+ years leading sales teams and working in a relevant sales, business development, account management, and/or sales executive role
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting sales quotas and helping teams meet their quotas
