Purpose of Position
The Recruiter, Senior leads and facilitates the recruitment process, serving as a consultant to hiring managers and business partners. The Recruiter, Senior is responsible for administering recruiting policies and processes to attract, screen and hire qualified candidates for the Company. The Recruiter, Senior is responsible for assisting in recommending HR processes to improve efficiency and productivity; seeking out best practices for evaluation and review. The Recruiter, Senior also serves as a leader and mentor in the professional development of team members.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Utilizes Applicant Tracking System and other required HRIS systems to maintain data integrity of records for all hiring activities and employment decisions.
- Develops and maintains strong consultative relationships with hiring managers to establish recruiting strategy and execution by delivering qualified, diverse candidate slates. Continuous improvement in the recruiting experience with candidates, new hires, hiring managers, Human Resource partners and outside recruiters. Consistent follow-up with hiring managers to confirm staffing plans are met.
- Understanding and implementing EEO/Affirmative Action compliance regulations into the daily work of recruiting and HR organization.
- Act as subject matter expert in an area of best practices, TA process, effective use of technology including ATS, LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, Seekout, Calendly, TA AI chatbot, etc. Adhere to policy and data integrity guidelines.
- Provide a unique high-touch experience for the candidate through every stage of the hiring process.
- Act as Project Member or Lead on specific Human Resource-related projects.
- Recruit top talent and achieve quarterly hiring goals.
- Develop and maintain a candidate network through personal networking, research, industry organizations, schools and social media tools.
Education
Bachelor's in Communications or Human Resources

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on tact and diplomacy
- Mentor and provide guidance and direction to recruiting team members
- Strong experience in a corporate environment implementing a wide range of staffing programs and processes
- Five (5) years experience working with an Applicant Tracking System, HRIS, or related HR Systems; understanding capability and enabling functionality
- Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work well in a fast paced, ever-changing environment
- Proven experience in building and maintaining relationships with potential candidates to create future pipelines of talent
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly establish credibility and respect with broad range of business partners.
- Experience sourcing both active and passive candidates through creative channels including, but not limited to networking, social networking, internet mining, university relations, etc.
- Experience using value added metrics and reporting systems to measure results and set service level agreements with clients
