Affiliated with Ohio State University Physicians, Community Health Partners, CHP, is a group of emergency medicine specialists committed to providing emergency services to patients throughout Ohio.
We are currently seeking a Physician Recruiter to join our team. While this is majority a remote position, the candidate must be available to attend meetings or do other tasks in person, as needed.
The physician recruiter will oversee the screening, interviewing, and processing of physician candidates and hire physicians for our community health partner.
Purpose:Coordinates the processes and procedures associated with supporting the centralized recruitment function with respect to sourcing, screening and onboarding.
Requirements:
- 1 year experience in Emergency Medicine and Hospitalist physician recruiting role or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Practical knowledge of general HR principles and employment law.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations, and ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization with poise, tact and diplomacy.
- Must be able to multi-task and work independently in a fast paced environment.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing and spreadsheet software (MS Word, Excel).
- Ability to provide continual attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferences:Associate Degree in related field.KRONOS Applicant Management.Experience working with digital and social media recruitment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Utilize job boards for external advertising and digital and social media sites for recruitment.
- Utilize the KRONOS Applicant Tracking System and complete data entry related to recruiting activities, job postings and hiring.
- Make recommendations to CHP Administration team on interview process and candidate selection. Recommend solutions for overcoming recruiting issues and market challenges.
- Coordinate pre-employment onboarding and candidate communication activities such as but not limited to reference checks, background checks, drug testing, obtaining compensation approval, drafting letters of offers, initiating access requests, requesting ID badges, extending offers, and completing any internal documentation.
- Maintain recruitment metrics for open and filled positions.
- Collaborate with the CHP Administration team during the offer process, related to salary ranges, incentives, start dates, orientation and other details.
- Ensure any and all recruiting activities align with all state and federal regulations.
- Other duties or special projects as assigned.
- Participate in the Full Cycle Recruitment Process, including job postings, phone screenings, resume screening, coordinating interviews, reference checks, offer letters, and coordinating new employee onboarding and pre-employment requirements.
- Provide regular recruitment updates and feedback to CHP Administration.
- Maintain relationships with candidates and community through networking, job boards, vocational schools, and career fairs.
- Attendance, promptness, professionalism, the ability to pay attention to detail, cooperativeness with coworkers and supervisors, and politeness to customers, vendors, and patients.
- Recommend process improvements for improving data quality and process efficiencies to improve recruiting, selection, orientation, and retention of talent.
- Conduct regular follow-up with the CHP Administration team to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans, sourcing techniques, time to fill metrics and quality of hire.
- Build and identify networks through industry groups and contacts, association memberships and current employees to identify qualified candidates and expand our talent pools.
- Ability to perform functions using job-related software and systems.
