What does this role entail?

The Project Manager role will assist researchers with day-to-day management of our qualitative market research studies as well as various internal business initiatives. The Project Manager will ensure all projects are successfully completed on time and within budget while meeting and exceeding client expectations. This role is for a “do-er” with ample opportunity to grow into a “thinker” for the team.

The specifics of the role may vary from project to project but may include:

  • Lead research recruitment with external vendors including securing pricing proposals, creating screeners, and managing the vendor and overall recruitment.
  • Other project management duties as deemed necessary.
  • Support client management activities and ensuring high level of client satisfaction.
  • Manage internal business initiatives including client database, project status documents and organization as well as others as they arise.
  • Join ongoing research to manage the technology (if we are hosting) or the platform tech (if we are using a hosting service), and to take notes for the moderator.
  • Review reports/deliverables for team.
  • Create LBR’s social media marketing calendar and execute social media posts to support business development and brand building efforts.
  • Provide support for researchers as it relates to project setup, logistics, invoicing/contracts managing schedules/calendars, and final deliverables.

In addition to the above, some of your qualifications might include:


Education, Experience, Certification

  • 1-3 years of project management experience in professional role (required)
  • Experience working in an advertising or marketing role at an agency, or on the client-side or a market research role is a plus, but not required
  • Experience and/or interest in managing and building client relationships a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree with concentration in marketing, advertising, communications or psychology

Proven Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to create and design social media assets
  • Strong work ethic and client-oriented mentality and desire to learn and grow with the company
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and Zoom required, Qualtrics and Squarespace a plus
  • Effective communicator with strong oral/written communication skills who able to understand/interpret, clarify and confirm others’ communications/requests
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Familiarity and experience with online market research
  • Good interpersonal skills, collaborative and ability to work with a team
  • Familiarity with prioritizing tasks and managing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated individual who takes initiative on new or potential projects and approaches work with flexibility and agility

Physical & Logistical Requirements

  • Suitable remote work environment including reliable high-speed internet and phone
  • Flexibility to travel on an as needed basis
  • Work East Coast hours
