Job Summary:

The US PR MANAGER is responsible to promote the image of Isabel Marant in the Americas region and to develop key messages in the region align with the global communication and PR strategy.

Role Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain relationships with editors, stylists, VIPs and talents.
• Point of contact for US PR agency as well as all press queries and responsible for sharing all press materials securing coverage both proactively and reactively.
• Develop and execute the US celebrity and influencers strategy with IM HQ
• Overseeing management of showroom with the support of HQ VM team, inventory, contact database.
• Manage all incoming samples requests coming from HQ PR team, worldwide PR partners, and US Wholesale team.
• Work with Communication Director to create and implement seasonal strategies to promote a positive brand image for Isabel Marant in the USA, including strategic product and brand placements in qualitative print and digital media titles.
• Oversee and manage PR sample trafficking for all categories to and from leading media outlets, stylists and VIPs.
• Connect with Paris HQ on sample availability daily.
• Liaise with Paris HQ on reporting, events, press releases and special initiatives
• Oversee the maintenance of all showroom displays and merchandising.

• Foster a friendly, inviting, and professional presence in our dual showrooms
• Serve as local touchpoint on media, editorial and VIP interactions in the US market to ensure brand’s presence
• Management of one Showroom PR Assistant

Required Travel:

Attend Paris shows 2x yearly in Paris to manage US press

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to implement strategy and has an enthusiasm to proactively present learnings and suggest new ideas
• Experience working within a global scope
• Ability to demonstrate tact and discretion in preparing, disclosing, and handling information of a confidential, controversial, and sensitive nature
• 3-4 years of PR / influencer marketing experience
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to adapt well to change and multi-task
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to communicate across the organization at all levels
• Strong relationships with beauty / fashion / lifestyle influencers and key players in the fashion industry
• Strong planning and organizational skills with a sense of priority and attention to detail

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
