Position title: Project Manager, Store Planning
Reporting to Title: Senior Director, Store Planning
Summary:
The core responsibility is to deliver well-designed projects on time and on budget. This is a unique opportunity to be involved in the initial design sketches and see the project through the full life cycle. In addition to the individual projects assigned, the project manager will aid in the development and evolution of concepts for outlet, retail, flagship, and special project locations as well as take on some of the department initiatives to improve processes and standards.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Design:
· Ability to quickly hand sketch layouts or other details to convey design direction and intent
· Proficient in 3d Modeling
· Proficient in rendering software
· Proficient in AutoCAD
· Experience researching and developing custom materials with vendors
· Provide Schematic Design Package on assigned projects. This includes renderings and basic plans.
Project Management
· Collaborate with internal teams to solidify a clear design brief containing programmatic requirements, sku capacities and other details that need to be considered in the design process
· Manage assigned projects from start to finish tracking all milestones and deliverables
· Provide schedules and maintain them for assigned projects
· Provide budgets, track budget, and change orders throughout project
· Review Local Architect’s (AoR) drawings, provide red lines and gain approval
· Oversee the approval and permitting process both internally and externally
· Bid, Negotiate and contract fees and scope with vendors and consultants.
· Identify and resolve issues in both the drawing phase and construction phase
· Visit construction sites for quality control and design compliance
· Provide on-site feedback and solutions for site conditions
· Provide updates to internal teams on project status
Department Initiatives
· Assist Director with setting up the store database
· Assist Director in establishing processes, templates, and standards
· Partner with Retail Ops to set up a maintenance program for the store network
· Assist in special projects which may range from pop-ups to showrooms to office space updates
Position Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree in architecture from an accredited university
· 5-7 years of experience in Architecture and Design
· At least 4 years’ experience in Retail Project Management
· Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
· Ability to take ownership of projects

In compliance with the New York City salary transparency requirements, the potential salary for this position is from $130,000 to $140,000, which represents a range commensurate with experience, knowledge, and skills required. * this position is eligible for a discretionary bonus*
