Store Planning Analyst Jobs

Negotiate and coordinate design and technical requirements, strategic scheduling and upfront planning, budgeting and hiring.

Review with legal department lease and contract requirements for all aspects of project.

Review with internal project managers architectural drawings, shop drawings and renderings.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Prepare and communicate schedule and budget updates to Executive Leaders

Directs all construction teams and architects regarding the design/look of the stores to meet specifications

Efficient in coordination and project management skills, with ability to prioritize

Control the budget and follow up the cost of each project in collaboration with Management & central SDP

3+ years of experience directly related to role requirements (ideally with watch & Jewelery brands)

Store design & Construction Projects Management

Account Management - Contractor & Supplier

Control and manage project schedule – milestone, opening date

Knowledge LEED processes and certifications

Utilize internal systems (Unifier, Coupa, Plangrid, Microsoft Projects) for drawing and budget, PO submissions and management.

Manage and report on change orders and overall budget management.

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture/Engineering, or Construction Project management

Strong communication and managerial skills

Manage large, complex projects, like Flagship stores.

Using creativity, analytical and project management skills, plan, develop and determine appropriate course of action for all merchandise presentation projects

Available on-call to manage urgent requests from teams in the field

Thorough knowledge of retail layout design principles and techniques as the industry evolves

Directly responsible for project based quality, schedule and production goals

Understanding of retail merchandising flows and how it relates to store layout and design principles

Team-oriented approach and focus on customer service

Oversee Project Management of all materials and sampling to ensure all materials meet brand standards and are reviewed/approved internally.

Assist and educate project management team on negotiating terms, pricing etc. for project-specific vendors.

Capable of leading a team & performance management

Oversee all department scheduling, most notably delegating projects to internal and external project managers managing the bandwidth of the teams

Assist and teach project managers to resolve timeline issues that arise on projects

Oversee the external partner that manages the Concept book to ensure it is kept up to date

Bachelor’s Degree in architecture and/or construction management

Retail store planning experience required

Bachelor’s Degree in architecture and/or construction management.

Manage project schedule, budget, store planning reports/presentations, invoices and contracts.

Organize and manage bid submittals, negotiation and awarding of consultants.

Liaise with partners in internal departments including IT/security, Retail, Wholesale, Finance, Logistics, VM, etc. to support project execution and meet deliverables.

Experience in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Sketch Up.

Previous experience working with millwork shop drawings, construction drawings, material selection, space planning and layouts.

Management of ongoing schedule timelines and budget tracking and communicate when budgets are at risk

Organization and issuance of project documentation via/on internal management platforms

Minimum 3 years in retail project management

Bachelor’s in construction management, engineering, Architectural or another related field from an accredited program is preferred

High organizational skills and strong attention to detail

Facilitates the management of all design drawing sets.

Manage the design process during the Design Review Meetings (DRM) with the Design/Space Planning team, including active feedback on layouts.

Directly manage the Architects of Record

Manage all construction drawing sets.

Manage the design professionals through any planning and zoning.

Manage the building permit process for all projects.

· At least 4 years’ experience in Retail Project Management

Position title: Project Manager, Store Planning

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Experience researching and developing custom materials with vendors

· Manage assigned projects from start to finish tracking all milestones and deliverables

· 5-7 years of experience in Architecture and Design

Support Project Managers with reporting estimation for capital expenditure requisitions and liaise with Finance

Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or construction management

Manage cost control aspects for construction and facility projects and provide KPIs analysis reports

Strong knowledge of construction project life-cycles and cost

Advanced knowledge of Excel and Power Point

Intermediate knowledge of AutoCAD (or another Take-off program)

5-7 years of project management experience working in high luxury Fashion, Jewelry & Hospitality or equivalent

Independent, strong planning and management skills with excellent problem solving skills

Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables

Ensure the store execution aligns with the brand’s standards and requirements

In-house experience in retail brands preferred

Experience working with international vendors

5-7 years of project management, construction or architectural experience.

Bachelor’s Degree in architecture and/or construction management.

Manage design and construction of store projects in North America projects.

Knowledgeable in construction and excellent attention to detail.

Experience in luxury retail construction.

Previous experience working with millwork shop drawings, construction drawings, material selection, space planning and layouts.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field highly preferred;

5+ years of experience, particularly in financial analysis and cost controls;

SAP and HFM experience, a plus;

Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills;
