Who You Are
We are seeking a skilled and motivated construction management professional to lead our game-changing ConXtech projects. As the single point of contact for these ventures, you'll be responsible for every aspect, from design development to project closeout. Your focus will be on completing projects safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining ConXtech's exceptional quality standards and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Your Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering, or equivalent experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry
Solid understanding of commercial construction processes
Strong Problem-solving Skills With Hands-on Field Experience
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a knack for teamwork
Leadership abilities to effectively manage a team
Self-confidence in making key decisions, balanced with a willingness to seek guidance when needed
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple projects
Strong negotiation skills to navigate project complexities
Proficient modeling and detailing experience with Tekla Structures
Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Microsoft Teams (remote working)
Competence in various software tools such as Procore, Sage, Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and BlueBeam
What You'll Be Doing
Experience with scheduling software preferred (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera)
As a Project Manager at ConXtech, you'll embark on an exciting journey where you will:
Coordinate design and pre-construction services to ensure project success
Facilitate the collaborative integration of the ConXtech system with various stakeholders
Provide necessary information to support proper design, fabrication, and installation
Oversee day-to-day construction project management, ensuring seamless coordination among teams
Manage permit and entitlement processes efficiently
Develop overall project plans and construction schedules
Evaluate project progress to meet budgetary and company goals
Review and initiate revisions to designs and building specifications for optimal results
Facilitate contracts, purchase orders, and change orders effectively
Provide timely and accurate billing and payment application
Ensure seamless execution of our scope of work through coordination with relevant departments
Where You'll Be Working
You'll be based at our vibrant and commuter-friendly Pleasanton, CA headquarters, with the option to work remotely a couple of days per week from the comfort of your home.
