Job Summary

Responsible for managing the complete life cycle of the Retail Journey Project which spans across the Comcast enterprise. This role will partner closely with Xfinity Growth, Innovation, and Experience (XGIE) Human Resources, Sales leaders, and work cross functionally with Division and Region leaders to ideate, design, and implement a workforce strategy for our Retail team members. Strong ability in change management will be critical for success in this role. Familiarity with Smart Sheets is desired but not required. In this role, you will also be responsible for ensuring that the project is properly approved and vetted by senior leadership, plan, execute, and closeout the project to ensure planned results are achieved on time. You will be responsible for requesting and maintaining budgets, timelines and ensures progress to plan, as well as tracks critical project achievements. Works with project lead to establish and achieve goals. Coordinates the activities of a cross-functional team including National, Division, and Region team members. Has a strong ability to gain buy-in for project initiatives and ensure that timelines are met. Will support additional projects as needed. This is a virtual role working with a fully virtual team.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develops, maintains and manages detailed project plans, action item registers and major milestone timelines for all assigned projects. Plans and directs schedule and budget.
  • Manages all assigned projects to completion, ensuring on-time delivery, meeting of budgetary demands and maintenance of overall project ownership.
  • Addresses problems through risk management and contingency planning and presents solutions and/or options to executive management.
  • Maintains communication with stakeholders. Provides status reports to Project Managers, vendors, stakeholders and resources.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Identifies project scope and objectives. Manages a cross-functional team including third party vendors and other resources; coordinates activities to achieve goals.
  • Coordinates resources and needs, developing and maintaining regular contact with vendors for support and services.
  • Uses formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks and changes.
  • Facilitates project meetings.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Minimum Requirements

  • Project management experience managing large projects in a dynamic and matrixed environment
  • Strong proficiency in Smartsheets and Microsoft Office applications. Experience with Microsoft Project a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with internal and external resources and success in a team as well as a decentralized environment.

Education

Bachelor's Degree

While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.

Salary:

National Pay Range: $45,765.20 USD-$107,262.19 USD

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
