Project Developer Jobs

Carter Maddox have partnered with one of the leaders in the energy storage market in search for a Project Developer.

This ideal candidate will have experience developing Utility scale BESS or solar projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support to project interconnection requests were necessary.
• Manage a variety of different stakeholders and their respective requirements such as technical consultants, surveyors, land-persons etc.
• Manage and execute the development of complex large-scale renewable energy projects from initial project proposal and greenfield status, through to Ready-To-Build stage.
• Constantly be mindful and forthcoming of process improvements which could de-risk the permitting, development schedules or create additional project value.
• Direct and conduct due diligence at the development stage.
• Work hand in hand with the engineering team and external consultants to ensure a smooth development lifecycle.
• Manage the negotiation and diligence of vital project contracts and agreements.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• 2+ years of direct experience with renewable project development at the Utility scale.
• Relevant bachelors degree.
