The Program Associate is a new role designed to support our efforts to continue our organizational growth. This role will report to and partner with the Program Director to ensure well-coordinated and thoughtfully executed programmatic processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES
·Directly support the Program Director in building and developing new and existing programs from the ground up.
·Coordinate and implement activities for multiple program initiatives, including contributing to strategy, implementation logistics, internal and external communication, and evaluation
·Maintain and process sensitive information according to confidentiality protocols.
·Assist with research, preparation, and written documentation for reports, special projects, presentations, and meetings.
·Contribute to communications and development of the program by gathering, organizing, and sharing inputs from crossed functional partner/team members.
·Serve as the liaison with the local government health agencies, managed care providers and other community-based organizations and partners.
·Ensure program compliance and effective operations.
·Work closely with mental & physical health providers, supportive services agencies, and property management agencies to ensure that client needs are being met, and to develop creative interventions focused on improving the safety and well-being of our most marginalized clients.
·Monitor and ensure documentation requirements are being met which includes but is not limited to; timely enrollment of program participants, initial, quarterly, and annual participant assessments; weekly reporting; the creation and implementation of individual service plans; client budgeting; reporting; etc.
·Ensure proper linkages to community resources by case management and ensure the usage of the “Whatever it takes” approach to case management.
QUALIFICATIONS
·Bachelor’s Degree and 1+ years of experience with program coordination.
·Experience working with healthcare administration and managed care providers.
·Have a strong foundational knowledge of chemical dependency and substance abuse treatment.
·Demonstrate excellence in time management, organizational, written, verbal, interpersonal, and computer skills.
·Critical thinkers, and enjoy problem-solving while being a team player.
·Ability to work in a high tolerance harm reduction model with clients who have multiple psychosocial barriers.
·Learn quickly and work effectively with a wide range of constituencies and minimal supervision.
·Have a valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record, and have a car (less than 25% travel)
·Can type at least 30 WPM, and can require, sit, bend and carry/lift up to 35 pounds
