This position is on the North America Engineering Services Group (ESG) Program Management team. The role is to lead a global, cross-functional team to deliver programs to key customers. In this role, you will:

• Create and drive complex development schedules/Gantts, drive closure to issues, action items, risks, and risk mitigation plans.
• Other duties may be assigned
• Lead cross functional project meetings and represent project status and plans in customer-facing meetings.
• Identify and drive process improvements.
• Create and drive New Product Introduction (NPI) and sustaining project plans according to XP’s Project Development Lifecycle.
• Manage NPI project builds in Sunnyvale as well as in XP Power factories in Asia.
• Lead and motivate the cross-functional team to deliver the product(s) per the agreed-to customer requirements and commitments.
• Contribute to executive level updates and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).

Qualifications

• Must have a track record of managing multiple projects with rapid development cycles.
• Must be able to work proactively, independently, and confidently in a dynamic engineering environment.
• Must have great communication, organizational and leadership skills with ability to inspire team members; remain flexible and calm in the fact of uncertainty.
• Experience with power conversion is a plus.
• Experience in leading cross-functional teams through NPI (New Product Introduction) development using a hardware Product Lifecycle process
• 5+ years of Engineering and/or Program Management experience
• Experience in transferring products to Asia factories is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience in related discipline (e.g., EE, ME, etc.) required.
