The commerce industry has seen tremendous growth in recent years and has become a hotly contested space amongst leading Internet companies, and its future growth can not be underestimated. TikTok Commerce re-imagines global commerce with rich content and endless joy.
As part of the Global Product Solutions & Operations team, you will lead market research, identify product opportunities, and build go-to-market strategies for TikTok's eCommerce products. You will be responsible for driving the end-to-end product journey, from product development to testing, launching, and adoption, and shaping the future of TikTok's eCommerce products.
Responsibilities:
As a Product Marketing Lead, you will:
- Lead and scale a team of product marketers for seller marketing products (ex: Shoppable content, stores, promotions, chats, and CRM)
- Drive market studies and be the voice of customers for product development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Design, Data Science, and Engineering, to shape the product strategy and roadmap.
- Prioritize product requirements using ROI analysis, dependency analysis, and other techniques.
- Participate in the product development lifecycle, review various artifacts to ensure quality, and participate in user acceptance testing to ensure product quality and optimal user experience prior to product launch.
- Plan and execute go-to-market activities, including product positioning, internal stakeholders training, and target audience activation plans.
- Monitor and drive key product performance metrics and drive product improvement & growth plans.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in product marketing and strategy in the internet industry. E-commerce and B2B experience is a plus.
- 3+ years of people management experience
- Proven experience in influencing product development and strategy using market insights.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, comfortable navigating global organizational structures and aligning objectives with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical skills and a bias for action, comfortable with setting ambitious targets, analyzing the status quo, planning a course of action, and executing.
- A Bachelor's degree is required, with a Master's degree in related fields (Computer Science, MBA) preferred.
- A deep passion for content and shopping.

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $143000 - $355200 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
