The Lead Product Manager oversees the consumer facing website as part of the Digital Health Office. This individual is responsible for ensuring the success of the website as a product platform for key stakeholders across the organization with a primary focus on the consumer experience. Individual’s work involves setting and aligning with development on the 6–12-month roadmap around all related projects and programs across the organization in need of website support. Then translating those project requirements into product features for the development team. The goal of these activities is to deliver a superior consumer experience across the platform and integrated technology solutions. The Lead Product Manager will build and maintain strong relationships with internal clients, vendors, and other departments to help further Baylor Scott & White Health strategic initiatives. There will be a heavy emphasis on problem solving capabilities (e.g., gather market research on best practice, identify root cause behind issues, connect with industry leaders to validate assumptions, and right-to-left thinking).
The Lead Product Manager will mentor Product Manager(s), Team Leads, and other project resources to aid in the professional development and perform HR duties where appropriate. Conduct all Human Resource related activities inclusive of interviews, supervision, performance evaluations, development, coaching, feedback, reward, recognition, scheduling, leave, policy and procedure.
SALARY:
The pay range for this position is $46.02/hr. (entry-level qualifications) - $82.76/hr. (highly experienced) The specific rate will depend upon the successful candidate’s specific qualifications and prior experience.
Essential qualifications for the role:
- Prior experience working directly on website product development, preferably as the product lead.
- Understands the working relationships and integration of how marketing technologies integrate and intersect with the website.
- Possesses a basic understanding of digital marketing strategies and tactics and can translate process and data flow of marketing technologies and the website.
- Experience working in Agile team structure.
- Able to convert requirements into product features and understand the level of effort for developers to build.
- Experience with website A/B testing and personalization configuration and measurement.
- Possesses a strong understanding of website visitor engagement across the website.
- Ability to manage and influence vendors to define and execute scope of work and holds them accountable to performance standards.
- Manage Agile rituals, tracking budgets, drive planning, and strategic platform improvements and strategies with oversight from Director.
- Utilize both traditional and modern assessment tools, such as interviews, surveys, and evaluations to arrive at hypothesis, conclusions, and relay findings to all levels of the organization.
Preferred qualifications:
- Sitecore experience a plus
- Prior website product lead experience.
- Healthcare or retail experience a plus
The ideal candidate must have the ability to establish external relationships with other thought leaders in Digital Health and understand the interdependencies of healthcare landscape and its influence on the website is essential for the role.
The ideal candidate must have excellent verbal, written, communication, and problem-solving skills and experience in journey map exercises.
