Product Development Intern Jobs

About Us:

LooseLeaf International is a high-growth, tobacco company located in the US, Dominican Republic, and Ecuador with a focus in the distribution of cigars and tobacco leaf products. LooseLeaf International is seeking a Production Clerk to support the team.

We are currently seeking a motivated and creative Product Development Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn about the product development process, contribute innovative ideas, and work collaboratively with our experienced team to help develop and improve our products. This is a paid internship position.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the product development team with various tasks, such as researching market trends, identifying consumer needs, and evaluating competitors' products.
• Attend team meetings and present updates on product development activities and progress.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas for new products or improvements to existing products.
• Assist with the development and execution of product testing and validation processes, ensuring that products meet quality and performance standards.
• Help coordinate and manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources to ensure projects stay on track.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the product development team.
• Support the creation and maintenance of product documentation, including design specifications, product requirements, and user guides.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and marketing, to help bring new product ideas to life.
• Analyze user feedback and product performance data to identify opportunities for product improvements.

Requirements:

• Strong interest in product development and a passion for innovation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the ability to quickly learn new software and tools.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a bachelor's or master's program in a relevant field, such as product design, engineering, marketing, or business.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
