Summary of Role:

The Intern will be responsible for providing a high level of support cross-functionally with all departments. The ideal candidate would be a current undergrad with a product, industrial, and/or packaging design background. This candidate would be someone who is artistic, creative, and enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced environment. This is a great opportunity for someone eager to learn business operations and the functions of many departments in the home goods industry.

Responsibilities:

• Create and assist in the preparation of various presentations using PowerPoint & other materials
• Meet daily or weekly with managers to provide a status update on projects
• Keep up-to-date on the latest products, trends, and insights through market research and store visits
• Support the team in daily administrative activities
• Exposure to various design projects from market research, sketches, and sampling to production will allow for demonstration of team experience
• Act as day-to-day support on the Product team’s initiatives
• Upload and maintain information across various platforms or internal programs

Qualifications:

• Proficient in Adobe Illustrators, Photoshop, and Office 365
• Currently Enrolled in Undergraduate Degree with a background in Product, Industrial, and Packaging Design

Additional Information:

• Hours: 30 hours per week
• Duration: 3 - 6 Months - Open to extend/renew
• Schedule: flexible, open to full or partial days, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST, Monday – Friday
• Anticipated Start: ASAP
• Wage: $17/HR
