Rebecca Minkoff is Looking for a Product Development Assistant of handbags. In this role you will be part of a tight knit and dynamic Product Development team. Reports to Director of Product Development.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Track all samples from proto to final production and maintain approvals of AD, PPs and TOPs
• Assist in the development of Rebecca Minkoff handbags from concept to commercialization
• Communicate with factories, tanneries and material mills on a daily basis to ensure smooth communication and development using WIP
• Adhere to time and action calendars
• A team player with good communication skills
• Maintain material sourcing library as well as seasonal material library
• Manage and track incoming packages; Prepare daily outgoing packages.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Great attention to detail and deadlines with exceptional organizational skills
• Super positive personality, “can do’ and “how can we do better” attitude.
• Thrive in fast-moving organization and able to think outside of the box to self-improve work efficiency
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university
• 1-4 years of work experience in product development
• Ability to work with and build good relationships with team members.
• Natural problem-solver who is able to work within an entrepreneurial environment.
• Exceptional team player and communication skills—you are proactive, organized, clear, and action-oriented

Work Location and Schedule

This job will require that you work form our office in New York, NY, on a hybrid schedule , Monday - Friday, during normal business hours.
