This individual will be responsible for creating a product strategy and roadmap for the startup and small insurer and segment. Objectives will include:
- The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to create and define a pilot execution plan that includes key activities, key deliverables, and key performance indicators. As such, the candidate will balance a strategic mindset with achieving results.
- Collaborating with key leaders, subject matter experts, marketing, legal and other functional teams will be required to accomplish these goals.
- Building a deep understanding of customer data and technology requirements, identifying improvement opportunities to our product suite, and managing the product idea pipeline through partnerships, client discussions, etc.

- Ability to be creative and decisive with data driven approach
- Deep understanding of Insurtech company / MGA business needs
- Experience performing current state analysis and formulating strategic action plans based on results and future state goals
- Working knowledge or experience with repositioning products to showcase their powerful relevance
- 4+ years of experience with a management consulting firm or VC fund focused on the insurance industry
- Track record in Strategy, Product Development, Customer Journey Management
- 3+ years of experience working at a rapidly growing P&C Insurtech or
- 7-10 years of relevant work experience in insurance, technology, consulting, investing etc. Of them, at least:
- Ability to lead complex and strategic insurance-business discussions and create solutions

- Able to collaborate with other internal teams, such as product management, finance, marketing, and compliance
- A thought leader within the Insurtech community
- Applies knowledge of carrier business/financial key performance indicators to recommended actions/solutions
- Strategic thinker – understands how to structure problem statements/improvement opportunities and develops solutions to account for barriers and dependencies while creating short, medium, and long term benefits
- Appreciation for nuance of customer/ user experience; ability to think through how to utilize feedback and other data
- Serves as an advocate for the customer and pursues products/services that promote ease of doing business and delivery of information that enables improved decision making
