Product Delivery Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and direction to the functional team so that tasks and activities are coordinated for project scope control, quality control, communication management, change control management, risk management, and issue management.
• The Delivery Manager has overall responsibility for managing scope, cost, schedule, internal staffing, vendors, and contractual deliverables.
• Provides transparency and effectively communicates delivery targets, commitments, and progress.
• Escalates impediments, helps ensure value delivery, and helps drive relentless improvement.
• Track product development team velocity overcomes obstacles and make adjustments and improvements as necessary.
• Management of all activities relating to the implementation and delivery of new products, enhancements pertaining to operational-related issues, and streamlining of processes to improve productivity
• Participate in establishing and executing work structures as well as encourage others to follow processes created.
• Supporting the team in the understanding of hot topics – related to technology and product development requirements and improvements (based on client, market, and regulatory demand)
• Manages all project-resourcing schedules for product development teams.

Qualifications

• Passionate about building high-performing teams and challenging yourself and others to learn and improve constantly.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to lead through influence and work with stakeholders.
• Experience with change management.
• Experience with developing project plans.
• 4-7 years of experience as a product delivery manager, agile product manager, or similar.
• Can give and receive feedback in the interest of mentorship and self-improvement.
• Enjoys working in a dual-track agile environment and has experience with agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
