PRODUCT MANAGER

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager who is passionate about building products that customers love. You will have an outsized impact on the company, driving strategic growth and winning the market of aspirational customers from the Latino community. You will drive the strategic roadmap with innovative solutions to meet the needs of this new breed of aspirational customer as they look to companies who they can trust with their money. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to design, build and roll-out products that deliver the company’s vision and strategy. You will be creating buy-in for the product vision and translating product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed
• Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
• Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding
• Drive product launches including working with marketing, executives, and other stakeholders
• Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact
• Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth
• Work closely with engineering team to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources
• Represent the company by soliciting feedback from customers on company products and services
• Create buy-in for the product vision

Requirements and skills

• Strong problem solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job
• Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization
• Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
• Proven work experience of at least 5 years in product management or as an associate product manager in the U.S. financial services industry
• MS/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred
• Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to management
