Vida Design is looking for a positive & energetic Procurement Assistant who resides in Portland, Oregon to join our team!
Vida Design is a full-service boutique interior design firm based in Portland, Oregon specializing in urban multi-family, commercial, and hospitality projects. We are looking to expand our team by bringing on an organized Procurement Assistant who demonstrates excellent communication skills and is eager to learn!
Requirements:
Relatable work experience a plus
Strong organization and time management skills
Technical abilities in Microsoft Suite and general comfort in computer programs
Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of and passion for design industry is a plus
Responsibilities:
Budgeting:
- Keeps detailed notes on project process.
- Assist in documentation and pricing on final budget proposals.
Ordering:
- Assist in ordering FF&E from approved budget proposals.
- Assist in Ajera project accounting.
- Track reselections and back ordered items.
- Assist in creating rough drafts for client communication.
- Track orders and provide updates to Procurement Specialist managing project.
Installation:
- Will attend install as scheduled.
- Assist Procurement Specialist in scheduling installers.
- Assist Procurement Specialist in travel arrangements.
- Assist in tracking and resolving punch list items to close out project.
Notes:
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to manage a project with accuracy and efficiency during Documentation, Procurement and Install phases.
- Responsible for reconciliation of final FF&E pricing to track profitability as assigned.
- Ability to follow process and adhere to documentation guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail
