The role:

Our client is searching for a Director of Procurement to lead, direct and staff as necessary a high-performance team that provides timely and proactive procurement services on large-scale energy projects. You will be tasked with building, leading, and maintaining a procurement team that will serve the commercial side of the business.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain contacts and relationships with major equipment manufacturers, suppliers, and EPCs in the renewable energy industry
• Negotiate as the commercial lead in major equipment and services contracts
• Lead and mentor the procurement team

Essential Skills/ Experience:

• 5 years of experience working in wind, solar, or energy storage
• 10 years of electrical procurement experience
• 2 years in a leadership role
