Job Description
Managing Partner of a well-known investment firm is looking for a Personal Assistant to support him and his wife, and family. They are a family of six with three properties with their primary home in Dallas, TX. You will be responsible for a variety of personal projects such as running personal errands, organizing and arranging family travel and transportation, booking appointments and reservations, event planning, etc. Someone who is highly organized, resourceful, able to wear multiple hats, and a self-starter will thrive in this role. This role is based in Dallas, TX. You will go to the Principals home throughout the week in person as needed to meet with and run errands. They do have a home office that this person will be able to access. They are also looking for someone who is able and willing to travel on family trips as needed. 150-170K+ DOE + benefits.


Responsibilities


  • Coordinate with House Managers at family properties to ensure the house is set up upon family and guests’ arrival. Organize personal chef to come onsite and any transportation that is needed during their stay.
  • Manage personal and family calendars. Partner with the Principals’ Executive Assistant to ensure the professional and personal calendar is synced as needed.
  • Partner with the Principal on planning and preparing for events. Coordinate with vendors, manage event details, and organize guest lists.
  • Plan and manage personal travel for family. Booking accommodations, planning activities and organizing reservations, coordinating with transportation providers, creating detailed itineraries, etc. Travel with family as needed to provide support during trips.
  • Assist with any ad hoc projects as needed.
  • Coordinate and schedule personal appointments and activities for the Principals’ and children.
  • Assist with running personal errands - picking up any orders, sending/receiving mail packages, etc.
  • Serve as a liaison for Principals’ and coordinate with contacts and providers including resources associated with vehicles, homes, health, and wellness.
Qualifications:


  • Hardworking and resourceful. Do whatever it takes to get the job done.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a vehicle to run errands.
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.
  • Solution-oriented mindset.
  • Ability and willingness to travel as needed with the family.
  • Strong organizational skills and very detail-oriented.
  • Previous experience as a Personal Assistant, Project Manager, Executive Assistant, or similar role.
  • Ability to work well independently.
  • Ability to adapt well to changes and environment - handle last-minute changes with grace.
