Performance Analyst Jobs

Position Summary
The Performance Analyst position will join a Performance Measurement & Attribution team that supports performance review and validation for TCW investment portfolios (fixed income, equity, and emerging markets), generates and analyzes Fixed Income Attribution, and supports the Investment Team, Client Services and Product Services. The role will be part of a team that is responsible for the overall performance and attribution cycle, which includes review and validation of security returns, management of systems to calculate portfolio returns, review of portfolio returns, attribution calculation and analysis and ad-hoc performance and attribution inquiries. This dynamic team works across the firm and have frequent interactions with Investment Management staff, Client Services, Product Services and Investment Operations.
Essential Duties

• Conduct thorough investigation of performance outliers, analyze findings, and make recommendations on changes or fixes
• Work closely with the trading desk and IT to support development and implementation of performance/attribution related enhancements.
• Complete ad-hoc performance projects as necessary
• Review and scrub periodic performance and attribution data
• Interface with investment management, client servicing, and operations staff regularly to address performance inquires and complete related requests
• Manage the performance validation process in the assigned areas by reviewing and validating daily and monthly security and portfolio performance

Required Qualifications

• 1 – 3 years of experience in portfolio performance validation
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field
• Solid knowledge of fixed income and equity securities
• Proficient in Excel with demonstrated knowledge and experience in formula writing

Desired Qualifications

• Fixed income attribution related experience strongly preferred
• Knowledge of SQL strongly preferred
• CFA preferred
• CIPM preferred

Estimated Compensation
Base Salary: $80k - $105k
Other Compensation: Discretionary bonus eligible
