- Conduct orientation sessions and provide guidance to new hires regarding company policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure all necessary paperwork, equipment, and resources are prepared for new employees.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.
- Develop and implement initiatives to enhance the overall employee experience, including engagement programs, recognition initiatives, and employee feedback mechanisms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Act as a resource for employees, addressing their queries, concerns, and providing guidance on HR-related matters.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure freelancers are onboarded effectively, including providing necessary resources and access to relevant systems.
- Support the freelancer hiring process, which may include screening candidates, and negotiating rates.
- Monitor the performance and satisfaction of freelancers, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Liaise with the IT vendor to ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
- Provide basic technical support and training to employees, as needed.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for HR-related IT requests, such as access permissions, software installations, and hardware needs.
- Help in the recruitment process, including job postings and scheduling logistics
- Contribute to the development and improvement of HR policies, procedures, and practices.
- Assist in maintaining HR records, files, and databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Support HR processes, such as employee data management, payroll, benefits administration, and compliance.
- Participate in HR-related projects, such as performance management, talent acquisition, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and policy reviews.
- Take ownership of assigned projects, ensuring their successful completion within given timelines.
- Conduct research, collect data, and prepare reports to support decision-making processes.
- Proficient in HRIS systems, Google Suite, MS Office Suite, and other HR-related software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels.
- In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.
- Proven experience as an HR Specialist or similar role, preferably with exposure to onboarding, employee experience, freelancers, IT requests, and general HR support.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and take on new responsibilities
