Paralegal/Legal Assistant (Virtual)

Job description:

ASI Staff is looking to hire virtual paralegals to provide support to multiple attorneys. We have part –time and full-time positions available, flexible work schedules, and the ability to work from home most days. Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working with multiple attorneys.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• E-filing in various courts (Sate & Federal)
• Interview with potential clients
• Tracking billable hours
• Preparing documents, Correspondence & agreements
• Scheduling
• Dictate, Proof and edit documents for accuracy

Job Requirements

• An extreme attention to detail kind of person
• Knowledge of legal terminology
• Skilled in meeting and dealing with people in a courteous and tactful manner.
• Knowledge of litigation processes and court proceedings
• A minimum of 5 years of paralegal experience required.
• Occasional driving required
• Ability to transcribe dictation.
• Excellent writing and oral communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
