We are seeking a proactive and highly organized individual to join our team as the Outreach Director. In this role, you will be responsible for effectively establishing and expanding branches of our organization, ensuring seamless communication and coordination with both existing and new branches. Your primary focus will be on contacting and engaging with potential branch partners, providing them with necessary resources, and overseeing the growth and development of these branches. The successful candidate will play a vital role in enhancing our organization's reach and impact.
This is an unpaid internship role that will run for the rest of this calendar year (2023). If the individual shows strong capability and initiative, they will be asked to join the board of Packs of Love and help further expand our values of expanding accessible STEM and domestic resources to the San Diego homeless and underprivileged youth.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Packs of Love board to develop and improve resources, training materials, and support systems for branch partners.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress and performance of branches, identifying areas for improvement and implementing appropriate strategies.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for new branches, addressing their queries, providing guidance, and facilitating their integration into the organization.
- Proactively initiate and maintain contact with prospective partners to establish new branches of our organization.
- Coordinate and update branch partners on relevant resources, policies, and procedures to ensure consistent implementation across all branches.
- Conduct regular check-ins and provide support to existing branches to foster growth and sustainability.
