Overview:
Our client, a Medical Center facility under the aegis of a California Public Ivy university and one of largest health delivery systems in California, seeks an accomplished Community Outreach Research Coordinator.
*** Candidate must be authorized to work in USA without requiring sponsorship ***

*** Location: 1399 S Roxbury Drive, Suite 100, Los Angeles, CA 90035
*** Duration: 3 months contract w/ possibility of extension
Notes:
- Pay Rate: $30/hr on W2.
- Interview Process: The first step is an initial zoom with the hiring manager. An additional Zoom will take place with the PIs and MSO of division. That will be coordinated with an in-person visit to the clinic to meet the staff.
- Onsite role.
- Shift: 8:00am - 5:00pm.
Description:
- Need someone who can run a monthly HIV/Community Advisory Board.
- Create outreach materials for specific studies.
- Team of 4 PIs, 6 clinical research coordinators, 1 data manager, and 2 lab staff.
- Conduct pre-screen recruitment calls.
Qualifications:
- Looking for an individual who has experience with HIV community resources and community-based organizations.
- Looking for someone with familiarity with HIV prevention, biology of HIV and treatment of HIV.
- Exceptionally good communication skills both in writing and orally.
- Experience dealing with LGBTQ populations.
- Outreach experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Involvement in or strong understanding of research.
- Spanish speaker.
- Social media content creation.
