Operations Support Specialist Jobs

Job Responsibilities/Duties
Washington River Protection Solutions (WRPS) is seeking an Operations Support Specialist. This individual will provide radiation protection services for the Single-Shell Tanks (SST) Retrieval and Closure RadCon Organization. Other duties and responsibilities will include:
Acts as Radiological Facilities point of contact (POC) and provides regular and consistent operations feedback to the designated management in functional and programmatic areas that support facility or area operations.
Acts as technical/interpretative authority on applicable procedures, and ensures accuracy and timely development and revision.
Perform Management Observations of work processes and radiological functional areas of responsibility.
Maintains the Personnel and Area Dosimetry program reporting needs and requirements.
Conducts constructive and compliant event investigations; improves by obtaining feedback from participants and peer reviews, prior to issuing mandatory reports.
Develops and maintains internal Performance Metrics charts and reports.
Develops, maintains, and supports Corrective Action Management (CAM)/Action Request (AR) program implementation; monitors and tracks actions in iCAS.
Monitors and implements an effective assessment program, ensuring assigned management assessments and observation are conducted by responsible managers and an acceptable level of performance is achieved, while maximizing feedback.
Develops, reviews, and maintains Employee Job/Task Analysis (EJTAs) for the organization.
Ensures accurate record keeping; maintains records in accordance with applicable Records Inventory and Disposition Schedules (RIDS).
Supports the requirements management program, including the administrative and technical procedure process.
Required Qualifications
Grade 16:
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in related field and 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Grade 17:
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in related field and 6-7 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Desired Qualifications
-Radiological Control experience preferred

• Proficient with MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and other office software
• Experience with iCAS system, IDMS and RIDs record storage, and HSWET are desired

Compensation & Benefits
Grade 16:
Hiring Range Minimum: $83,950
Hiring Range Maximum: $105,750
Grade 17:
Hiring Range Minimum: $92,238
Hiring Range Maximum: $116,213

In accordance with the company's philosophy on compensation for exempt and salaried non-exempt employees, WRPS takes into consideration a variety of factors when determining initial salary to include assigned job scope and responsibility, a candidate's qualifications as compared to internal comparators performing in a similar role, and the external labor market. A salary offer will be made within the targeted hiring range posted. Note a candidate's prior salary history will not be taken into consideration.
