Duties
- May be required, as needed, to operate a GSA motor vehicle to make periodic distribution and coordinate visits to government facilities in the local commuting area.
- Plans and executes a variety of administrative functions, to include but not limited to, such duties as preparing and reviewing correspondence; preparing briefings and charts.
- Coordinates office activities and establishes office operating procedures to ensure uniform interpretation and implementation of administrative regulations and directives.
- Reviews plans, programs, and regulations pertaining to personnel, automation, analysis, and administration. Initiates support actions as required. Develops a variety of management reports.
- Performs, coordinates, and/or participates with staff members to accomplish work. Performs a variety of internal administrative management services.
- Developing reports; arranging meetings and maintaining calendars; making travel arrangements; screening calls and tracking suspense items.

- Fluctuating work hours will require the work of occasional overtime to accommodate office and command requirements.

- A driver's license is required for positions that operate a motor vehicle.
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
Qualifications
Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to exercise discretion.
Must be able to manage competing priorities under strict deadlines, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
Must have knowledge of Federal travel regulations, governing authorizations, entitlements and allowances.
Must have an in-depth knowledge of, and experience in protocol procedures for VIP visits, courtesy calls and the ability to exercise tact and diplomacy in coordinating visits and greeting senior executives from inside and outside the Government.
Highly Preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and possess Microsoft Office Specialist Certification
1 year experience in Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation Program or similar program
