Job Description

Responsibilities

While the candidates primary job functions will be to plan, coordinate, and setup conference rooms for events (chairs, tables, etc.), they will work in the mail room and train to provide backup support in other site services. As of today, this includes but is not limited to mail, shipment processing, event setups, records management, shred bin support, letter production, and facility operation projects. Daily work assignments are issued by the leadership team. These assignments are performed in buildings across the Dell Technologies campus in Round Rock and Austin. A company vehicle will be used to transport materials, equipment, and supporting team members. All forms of communication will be used to confirm customer needs, coordinate with other vendors / teammates, perform requested service, and provide information about the outcome. Data must also be collected throughout the day to capture notes, billing information, volumes, confirm service quality, and verify on-time performance. Between work assignments, data entry is required to populate trackers, metrics, and billing-related documents. The position requires a high level of continuous lifting to move tables / chairs and deliver large boxes / palletized freight. In this position, the candidate must be able to adjust his / her schedule to meet event setup deadlines. This could require overtime, but our goal is to complete job functions within a 40-hour work week.


Qualifications

  1. Must have good customer service & communication skillsets (prior experience in a corporate environment, a plus)
  2. Able to communicate in a positive, professional manner with executive-level customers via phone, text, IM, emails, etc.
  3. Able to work as part of a team or individually to produce a quality work product per deadlines to meet contracted service level agreements (SLA)
  4. Able to type, use Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, etc.), bar code scanners, and office equipment (prior experience using TRAC, Corrigo, or a Digital Mail Platform, a plus)
  5. Able to coordinate and complete assigned Work Orders for meeting / event setups, material transfers, shred bin, or special project services with a specified schedule
  6. Able to train and provide back-up support in any contracted service on the account
  7. Able to lift / move up to 40 pounds alone (ex. packages, tables, chairs) throughout the day
  8. May involve long periods of standing, walking, bending, reaching, stretching, similar activities, as well as walking between buildings
  9. Prior work experience in a service-related, customer-facing position, a plus
  10. Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record
  11. Candidate must be able to adjust their work schedule to meet event setup deadlines, but the goal is to complete job functions during a 40-hour work week (Monday through Friday, Days)
  12. May require periodic overtime
  13. Perform other duties as assigned
