THE OPPORTUNITY

Fisher Phillips is a national labor and employment law firm and we are looking for a talented Office Services Specialist to support the needs of our Atlanta office. For more information about the firm, please visit us at our website at www.fisherphillips.com.

In this role, the Office Services Specialist will support the operations of the Office Services Department to ensure it aligns with the business objectives of the firm. This position works collaboratively with others in a team-oriented environment. Manager level experience preferred for this role, but not required.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Setup and maintain conference rooms for meetings
  • Efficiently and accurately file client and firm physical and electronic records
  • Willing and capable to offer assistance to others when needed.
  • Process outgoing mail, including FedEx and UPS
  • May provide Front Desk support, including answering phones, taking messages and greeting clients and visitors
  • Portray a professional image through appropriate grooming and business attire.
  • Able to juggle multiple assignments and/or deadlines while maintaining a professional demeanor and timely seek assistance when needed.
  • Sort, process and deliver incoming mail and packages
  • Assist in setup of offices and work areas for new employees
  • Maintain and distribute inventory of all general office and kitchen supplies
  • Regularly assists with maintaining a clean and organized office including conference rooms, kitchens and copy rooms.
  • Handle distribution of intra-office mail
  • Coordinate off-site records pickups and deliveries
  • Log and process incoming and outgoing faxes
  • Perform other tasks as assigned
  • Display good judgment in handling confidential information.
  • Copy, scan, print and/or bind documents accurately as assigned
  • Properly prioritizes work assignments.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be physically able to lift boxes and packages up to 50 pounds
  • Minimum 1 - 3 years of office experience required. (Experience working in a law firm is a plus, but not required.)
  • Possess strong PC skills, ability to use phone system, voicemail system, copier, scanner, facsimile and printer, including software knowledge of Microsoft Office, document management systems and scanning functions.
