The Opportunity:
The Office Assistant will assist the office staff with various duties that are critical to the operations of the company. This individual must be a team player able to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative and organization skills, and the ability to multitask
Key Responsibilities:
  • Responds to and resolves inquiries and questions.
  • Greet and welcome visitors, answer and direct phone calls, screens when necessary.
  • Prepares letters, memos, forms, and reports according to written or verbal instructions.
  • Performs office tasks including creating and maintaining records and ordering supplies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Process, sort, and route incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Supports and assists departments or individuals in the day-to-day operations of the business.
  • Coordinates and schedules travel, events, meetings, and appointments.
  • Performs other administrative tasks as needed, including errands and some personal support.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Ability to prioritize.
Education & Experience
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in an office setting, preferably in an administrative or clerical role.
  • High school diploma required; associate's degree preferred.
