Scope:
Support, coach, and train sales team to Private Event and tournament sales resulting in the attainment of revenue targets. The position is based in Dallas with an assigned territory in Texas and working with the Vice President of Sales on corporate sales strategies for the Acris portfolio.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Partner with Vice President of Sales on developing and implementing lead generation, retention and marketing strategies at a national, regional and course/club level
- Responsible for retaining top performers and creating a high performing, engaging sales environment utilizing programs such as contests, recognition programs, quarterly team meetings and team building.
- Responsible for directly managing Sales Directors within the assigned territory with goal to identify and develop a sophisticated and disciplined sales team that will embody the Arcis Axioms while growing revenue.
- Creation, execution and presentation of annual and quarterly regional sales strategy based on analytics and market analysis
- Contribute to regional budget and forecast creation and partnering with stakeholders to ensure a continuously accurate forecast in assigned territory.
- Work with Vice President of Sales on oversight of pricing strategies and data collection of competitive intelligence within the region. Track, review and communicate lead and lag metrics to drive sales initiatives
- Create an environment that leverages team synergies and produces a proactive sales culture
- Conducts product and pricing reviews with individual properties to identify opportunities for revisions and adjustments
- Responsible for the sourcing, recruiting and selection of sales talent for available and future roles in Texas clubs.
- Responsible for the onboarding, coaching, performance management and development of the sales team focusing on revenue growth in private events and tournaments offered at each club and developing talent in the field. Create Individual Development Plans and Succession Plans for top performers.
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University
- Effectively illustrates a compelling point of view and moves others to action
- Sets high goals and continuously strives for excellence
- Strong prioritization, planning and organizational skills
- Previous experience in leading high performing multisite sales teams preferred
- Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time
