Company Description
As the Business Operations Manager you will guide the link between business strategy and execution by managing our organizational planning process, which enables the organization to achieve long-term growth goals (e.g. accelerated revenue, value share, and profit growth). The planning process will be brand-driven, marketing led, and field implemented, all while meeting Global Headquarter expectations. An important objective is to maximize understanding, mindset, impact and efficiency for everyone in Sales, Marketing, and Shared Services that contributes to the strategic plans. Outside of the annual business plan cycle, the Business Operations Manager will identify and support important projects with business leaders to lead cross-functional congruence and speed to growth.

ORGANIZATIONAL BUSINESS PLANNING STRATEGY & PLAN EXECUTION
- Refine and strengthen the blueprint for the annual business planning process, ensuring individual department teams are efficient
- Lead communication of timelines and ensure all milestone deliverables are completed during Business Planning process
- Improve the collaboration between departments (marketing, sales, and shared services) and between US Head Office and Field
DELIVER BUSINESS PLAN TOOLS AND TEMPLATES
- Collaborate with reporting team to ensure monthly progress tracking against targets
- Develop/deploy tools and templates that maximize alignment, impact, and efficiency (e.g. Sales Retailer Planning Templates, Sales Goal Target Database, On Premise planning templates)
- Ensure Sales Goal Targets ladder up from field to US Head Office global commitments
CROSS-FUNCTIONAL PARTNERSHIPS AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT EXECUTION
- Design and implement improved Return on investment, growth, and efficiency tactics.
- Steward the full business cycle by providing business continuity from insight creation to strategy to planning to execution to reporting to performance optimization
- Embody a “team-first” mindset to the evolving needs of the Business Operations Team
- Manage logistics and coordination for important milestones including business planning (e.g. BP Kickoff, BP Tool)
- Identify and improve upon organization’s important processes, platforms, and tools through collaboration and central support of other business operations team members
- Cascade long-term deliverables into clearly defined work packages and assign ownership across diverse teams
- Acquire and maintain a pulse on the business by partnering with important representatives across sales, distribution, and marketing and field/region leadership.
Qualifications
- Manage internal contributors in sales and marketing to achieve buy in on project goals and process
- Project management capabilities
- Knowledge of sales and marketing business processes
- Must be extremely proficient in software packages (can maintain complex spreadsheets in Microsoft excel and demonstrated capabilities) and internal systems (CPM, SAP/BI)
- Prior experience in field sales and/or field marketing considered
- Assess and summarize the current landscape, market opportunities and internal feedback
- Minimum 5 years-experience, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) environment.
- Develop and implement successful sales and marketing strategies that support our goals.
Additional information
The base salary range for this position is $95,950 to $106,050 + cash incentives Actual salary offer may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
