RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support Sr. Designer on daily tasks in the design process, this includes, but not limited to the following:

• Build and maintain Sr. Designer's line-plan / 1-pager seasonally
• Driving capabilities, a plus for samples, inspiration, various projects that require all hand on deck
• Organize and track inspiration samples, vendor samples, and development samples
• Support Sr. Designer with styling & organizing of samples / Setting up, breaking down design spaces
• Development – assist in launching, developing, and tracking trim, fabric, prints and styles
• Sketch – create and update CADs in development process
• Be able to communicate clearly and assist with Leadership teams
• Collaborate cross-functionally with assistants' company wide
• Assist weekly prototype reviews by gathering and prepping samples
• Shipping, help print out documents, create layouts with VP's inspiration, build assets for special projects
• Adhere to design calendar deadlines and timelines, ensure all tasks are completely in a timely manner
• Create and organize fabric and trim binders seasonally
• Be knowledgeable with all styles to continuously scrub through product
• Fittings
• Document and take detailed notes in cross functional weekly meetings and Milestone meetings
• Assist in creating seasonal concept boards for presentations/ milestone meetings
• Support Merch tasks, proto reviews and Style Outs
• PLM/BOM – complete PLM/BOMs with accuracy
• Check in w/ Design Operations Manager for any support needed
• Ideation – deep dive research online and in-person market research
• Support VP of Design on daily tasks that include:

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proficient in Adobe suites: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign
• Knowledge in Graphic design is a plus development samples
• 0-2 years of industry experience in fashion design
• BA degree in Fashion Design or Industrial Design preferred
• Knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word
• Knowledge in performance fabrication, trims
• Proficient in CAD skills

The Base Salary Range for this position is $62,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the Company's total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, long term incentives, a PTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.
