About the Role:
Job Title: Senior Business Analyst
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with development teams, QA, and other stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and delivery of projects.
- Embrace an Agile mindset and actively participate in Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of requirements and project status.
- Utilize your leadership experience to guide and mentor junior business analysts in the team.
- Conduct thorough analysis of business processes, systems, and data to identify areas for improvement and recommend effective solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including executives, to gather and understand business requirements, objectives, and goals.
- Prepare and deliver high-quality presentations to executives and stakeholders, conveying complex information in a concise and compelling manner.
- Lead the development of epics and user stories, ensuring they are well-defined, actionable, and align with business objectives.
- Adapt quickly to a dynamic and fast-paced environment, adjusting priorities and approaches as needed to meet project objectives.
- Facilitate meetings and workshops with cross-functional teams to elicit requirements, resolve conflicts, and drive consensus.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely.
- Proven expertise in writing epics and user stories that effectively capture business requirements.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Previous experience in the healthcare industry, understanding its unique challenges and regulations.
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management, including engaging with executives and presenting to them.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.
Desired Qualifications:
- Prior Experience working in a Health Care Company
Location: Chicago, IL (Remote)
Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $100,000 – $110,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
