Responsibilities:

• Research, evaluate, characterize, qualify, and adopt new materials in process/product development work to deliver robust process.
• Investigate failure modes for electrodeposition related processes and drive suitable FA methods to identify/fix the root causes.
• Position may require travel to other Qorvo or vendor sites to support the work.
• Work closely with technology/process development teams to understand the needs and help deliver robust interconnect solutions.
• Collaborate with Universities/Research Institutes to solve issues and test new materials.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of semiconductor/battery technology experience. Focus in electrochemistry and/or metallurgy is a significant plus.
• Position will demand large amounts of time working in a clean room environment. Some lifting and standing will be required.
• Data analysis and programming skills to aid data mining.
• Self-starter with good communication skills.
• MS/PhD in Chemical/Material Science Engineering, Chemistry, Physics.
• Proficient in semiconductor measurement/analysis techniques such as SEM, AFM, SIMS, XPS, STEM.
