Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree in one of the following: Metallurgy/Corrosion, Materials Science & Engineering, or similar degree.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in similar role

Responsibilities

• Create comprehensive technical reports and deliver proficient technical presentations aimed at both technical and managerial audiences.
• Develop, evaluate and qualify specialized procedures such as welding, heat treatment, compounding, and extrusion, along with their practical applications.
• Supply expertise in materials, deliver training, and offer assistance to internal stakeholders (including manufacturing, supply chain, sales, management, and operations) as well as external stakeholders (comprising customers, suppliers, and representatives from subcontractors).
• Collaborate with suppliers and delegates from subcontractors concerning activities associated with materials.
• Create and assess new materials by means of characterization, testing, and analysis.
• Engage in the formulation and assessment of inventive ideas and concepts, including the execution of tests and simulations when necessary, to determine the optimal approach to corrosion management.
• Conduct predictive and failure analyses, as well as data analysis, to create enhancements for products, with a primary focus on material selection, adjustment, and processing ramifications.
• Offer guidance concerning the choice of materials, property information, and strategies to avert failures.
