Materials Equity Research Associate Jobs

Communicate with internal sales force, institutional clients and company management teams

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university required, preferably in Business, Economics, Finance or other quantitative focus

1-2 years Equity Research experience preferred

Experience in the Consumer sector helpful but not necessary

Excellent accounting and financial skills; keen understanding of valuation techniques

Excellent writing and communication skills with strong attention to detail

Create and maintain earnings, valuation, and industry models leveraging skills in general data analysis, accounting, finance, and economics.

Develop and maintain relationships with investor relations personnel and management of companies under coverage.

The candidate should have 1+ years of professional experience in Equity Research, Investment Banking, Capital Markets, and/or the retail industry.

Experience utilizing Excel to build and/or maintain financial models; an advanced level of Excel proficiency is ideal.

Experience writing in a professional capacity (e.g. crafting equity research notes/correspondence); presentation and/or development of industry reports.

PowerPoint skills are required, but not a large component of the everyday work.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· If no Ph.D. or M.D., clear interest in medicine/biological sciences through University level coursework

Hard magnetic materials (hands on experience in fabrication, testing, simulation and analysis of permanent magnets)

Soft magnetic materials (hands on experience in fabrication, testing, simulation and analysis of laminated electrical steel and soft magnetic composites)

Excellent teamwork and communication skills

Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks

3+ years research/working experience in one of the following fields, including graduate level research

Support the development of next-generation electric power conversion systems for electrified vehicles

Recent experience in all or most of the following: MOFs, COFs, porous materials, solid-state chemistry, XRD spectroscopy, TGA, sorption, GC-MS.

Plan and execute experiments and analyze data. Develop and modify experimental protocols in consultation with PI.

Operate lab equipment and perform routine maintenance as needed.

Keep and maintain laboratory notebooks and conduct data analysis, processing, and presentation.

Write experimental summaries and technical reports, and complete paperwork by assigned dates.

Assist PI with preparation of abstracts, manuscripts, and presentations for dissemination of results.

Communication with DGO of all requests and requirements

Ensure testing requirements are met and are being vetted with Asia development teams

Prior leather/material experience and/or product development experience working with materials.

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects

Organize seasonal material development with regional sourcing teams.

Coordination of sample skins for proto samples.

· Meet with company management teams and interview company customers, suppliers and competitors

· Strong financial modeling experience required
