As the Market Sales Manager at Krispy Kreme Doughnut Corporation, you will use your strategic thinking skills to represent our brand to some of the world’s most respected and recognized retail operations and be an important member of a cross-functional commercial team. This position is responsible for working across multiple functions to develop sales strategies, ensure flawless execution and monitor performance of assortment, merchandising, pricing, shelving and promotional initiatives.


HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Evaluating the performance of multiple product launches, corporate promotions and other initiatives – effectively communicating the results to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Leveraging the Category Management & Shopper Insights Team to identify and analyze pricing, distribution and other category/brand opportunities at the Banner and Region level
  • Working with Supply Chain to ensure the right product is available at the right time, in the right format for the right channel
  • Ensuring best practices are continually developed for optimal execution and effectively implemented at the Customer level
  • Proactively sell/upsell new distribution and feature/ displays to senior decision makers within national and region-based customers.
  • Proactively tracking and analyzing business and brand results on a national, regional and customer basis
  • Manage for profitability against key expense metrics such as travel and unsaleable goals
  • Builds strong business relationships with key CPG retail partners to identify opportunities and sell in relevant solutions that will be mutually beneficial, leveraging the full KKDC product portfolio (DSD/Warehouse).


YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

  • Support industry trade and distributor shows as necessary.
  • Key account management experience preferred – Headquarter retailer, distributor, broker.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office to include PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Strong communication skills – verbal and written
  • Ability to travel 60-70%
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Proven experience calling on buyers and/or category managers at the headquarter level.
  • Client focused, with a strong capacity to build credibility and trust.
  • Experience within the Consumer-Packaged Goods industry managing multiple key customers.
  • Experience managing internal and external stakeholders across various levels and functions
  • Experience translating corporate objectives into meaningful and effective programs
